From Mourning to Dancing

You have turned my mourning into joyful dancing. You have taken away my clothes of mourning and clothed me with joy, 12 that I might sing praises to you and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever! – Psalm 30:11-12 NLT

Your mourning can turn into dancing and you can be clothed with joy! It will be a joy the bear some scars, some more tender than others, but your destiny in life does not have to be the walking wounded, no matter what the wound was or when it occurred.

Is it going to be easy? No. Will it be worth it? Yes! I have filled this book with scripture because I believe that Isaiah 55:11 says that the word will not return void, not even when the reader is you! You can Dance with the Scars, you can be clothed with joy. It’s going to take a miracle you say, that is exactly what we have been talking about all along. A miracle that is possible through the God of the Bible who does them. But, you have to want it and you have to believe it.

It doesn’t end there however and the closing reminder for you comes from the words of Jesus Himself.

“ But why do you call Me ‘ Lord, Lord, ’ and not do the things which I say?  Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you  whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the  foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently  against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without  a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell.  And the ruin of that house was great.Luke 6:46-49

Believing is not just mental acceptance or acknowledgment, everything we believe dictates our actions and attitude in life. Believing your brakes will work on the car gives you confidence to increase your speed, believing the laws of motion, though not fully understood, causes you to slow down when approaching a curve on a mountain road. If you read this book and acquired information, that’s good, but that’s not all. You just go and build on the things we have found in the word of God, you must do them because you believe them.
